My experience has shown that talk therapy alone is often quite ineffective. We can be the best experts of our own life situation and past, understanding the cause-and-effect relationships excellently on a mental level – and still feel stuck. Permanent change requires something to change at the level of emotions and actions.
I work bodily and holistically. Together we learn to identify and regulate your body's survival mechanisms (fight – flight – freeze – fawn), dismantle harmful thought patterns, and release unfinished emotional experiences carried by the body.
In my work, I use methods such as internal parts work, Gestalt therapy techniques, and the Living Compassion approach, which combines mindful presence with compassionate interaction.
My clients often describe feeling relief – as a long-carried burden begins to lift. An opening of space. A deeper connection to oneself, one's own body, emotions, and the surrounding world. Change in relationships, work, and everyday life.
Therapy develops listening to the body's wisdom, presence, and self-compassion. It teaches a safer way to attach to others and new kinds of interaction skills.
